It wasn’t that i thought my helmet was boring. I actually liked the simplicity of matte black. It was more of a capitalization on the opportunity to express myself on a new medium. All the cuts are hand-drawn and most of them are hand cut with an x-acto knife. The theme I was going after was a blend between vintage tattoos and one of my favorite sci-fi sub genres: cowboys & aliens.
